For eliminating hot break material, the Stainless Steel Skimmer can be used to quickly remove excess foam at the outset of wort boiling, resulting in a clearer finished beer following fermentation. At the beginning of the boil, simply sweep the Skimmer over the surface of the boiling wort, catching the foam on the stainless steel surface while allowing the liquid wort to drain back into the kettle.
