Flavoring - Paradise Seeds 2 Grams

Paradise Seeds or Grains of Paradise imparts pepper, citrus and pine notes to the flavor and aroma of finished beers. Must be lightly crushed before adding to the final 15 minutes of the boil. In combination with small amounts of licorice, Star Anise, honey, molasses or sweet orange peel, Paradise Seeds are commonly found in Belgian style ales with a slight drying effect.

Application Tip:  

Use sparingly. Add a ½ tsp. for a 5 – gallon batch. Paradise Seeds matches with Star Anise, cardamom and Sweet Orange peel in Saison styles.
