Malty and full-bodied, the Imperial Blonde recipe produces a robust ale while still providing an easy to drink and well-balanced beer. With a golden hue derived from the lightest malt extract, the high gravity Blonde balances the malt with flavorful imported and domestic hops.
Contents of the kit include: ingredients, bottle caps, priming sugar, and brewing procedures.
Fermentables: 6.6 pounds of Light Liquid Malt Extract (LME); 1 pound of Wheat Dried Malt Extract (DME); and 1 pound of Corn Sugar.
Specialty grains: 1 pound of Honey Malt.
Hops: 1 ounce of Brewer's Gold and 2 packs of 1/2 ounce Cascade (hops may vary due to availability).

Application Tip:
To upgrade the yeast to a liquid culture, purchase the Wyeast 1214 Belgian Abbey yeast separately. Providing spicy flavor and aroma characteristics, the strain ably ferments higher gravity beers, producing bright fruitiness, spice, clove and banana notes. (Additional yeast sold separately.)
