Acid Testing Kit

Testing for Total Titratable Acidity of must or wine derived from grapes during the winemaking process allows the wine maker to strike the correct balance of acidity, sweetness and astringency in the finished wine.

The Acid Testing Kit provides a simple, easy to use procedure for determining the amount of Total Acidity pre and post fermentation and following stabilization or acid correction procedures. Proper adjustment of Total Acidity creates the right environment for quality flavor development in the finished wine.

Acid Test Kit includes:

• 1 plastic syringe

• 1 testing cup

• 4 fluid oz sodium hydroxide solution

• ½ fluid oz phenolphthalein color solution in a drop dispense bottle.
